    Parting 1980 528i e12 = turbo motor swap, 5-speed, LSD...

Hi r3vers. I just picked up an old E12 to part out. It's got a few goodies on it. The car was rear ended (not too hard, actually) and has been sitting for 9 months. The accident has ripped the subframe and it's not worth the effort to repair it.

Started life as a 528i, but apparently someone in it's history swapped a M102 745i motor into it. All the turbo bits are there, and worked when the car was parked. The E12 was damned quick, and the 5-speed was perfectly smooth with no grinds, pop-outs, etc. This is the G265 transmission with the gear drive on it = PERFECT for e12 5-speed swap guys who want to keep the speedo working!

The E12 has blue upgraded adjustable swaybars, a Euro M-tech front bumper, aluminum strut bar, Bilstien suspension and unknown (until I get it torn down) lowering springs.

I will update this thread with details on the car and it's parts when it arrives at my location. Should be delivered this week sometime.

Anyway, for now - here are a few pics.

Anyway, I'm happy to list pricing, and I'll try to come up with some as I tear it apart. Until then, if you're interested in something feel free to shoot me a message with an offer.

You're going to need prices, it's the rules here.

    Cool car.
