For Sale:Euro headlight grills, $60 shipped

I have 5 sets of European grills available ready to ship via UPS Ground. The grills have new OE adhesive tape on them and the grills have no cracks.

The price of $60 is for shipping to the lower 48 states only. If you are out of that area, please PM me and we can work something out.

    My paypal address is saricm50@hotmail.com

Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks.

Pics? Do these sets include the kidneys? Any difference between us and euro kidneys?

Also somewhere I read that not all euro grilles have the slot for changing city lights, do these?

Browntown, as far as I know, you change the 5 watt city light with the hood open behind the headlight. It has nothing to do with the grill, whether it be US or Euro.

I have a few sets of Euro Ellips, i will post a picture of the city light lever i am talking about at the same time i post pictures of the grills i am selling.

What i am selling is the left and right Euro grill, no center grill included. The difference between the Euro and US center kidney is that the US grill does not have the top part blocked off like the Euro one. To my knowledge the blocked off portion allows more air to be funneled to the radiator.

As for slots on the Euro grills, the only one I can think of is the holes on the bottom which are used for the headlight washing system on non-US E30's.

yes, you change the bulb w/ the hood open. but if the grill does not have a hole in it you cannot access the bulb w/o removing the grill.

Here is a picture I also posted on e30tech. I have over 10 complete sets so the grills all look the same. I guess you can see the hole on top for the city light.

I tried various ways of uploading it, but could not. Here is the link:

e304lyfe, yes there are grills with and without the opening on the top. I mostly have sets with the opening, but also have a few without, if anyone wants those instead.

Kruzen, your grills have been shipped. The ones you got have the opening on the top of the grill so if you have or will in the future get euro ellips, you can change the 5 watt city light without taking the grills off.

///M42 sport, as for the ellips I have. I do not really have the time now to post pics. I have a set of smoked and clear "smilies" with city lights included.
I would have to dig them up to give you more information. When I have the time and decide to sell them, I will post here.

                Thanks.

Yes, when i go home for the weekend, I will take pictures of them and give any other information about them, including price.

They have been at my parents house forever, so I can not recall too much about them right now.

All I remember is that I have two sets, both OEM:

                    1. Smoked Hellas w/ city lights, connectors never came with them.

                    2. Clear Bosch "smilies" w/city lights, connectors? not sure

As for the condition, I will post this weekend on a separate FOR SALE thread. Thanks.

And to anyone that forgot I have plenty of sets of Euro grills, $60 shipped. Or if anyone wants the grills and headlights, we can combine shipping.

Not to stir up a fuss here, but I will have a set of smilies for sale in a couple weeks if somebody misses out on these. Of course I will post when the time comes.

Are the hellas modified to look smoked like the DIY Thread? I'd be interested but the DIY way kinda sucks. I'd prefer smoked glass.

Smoked glass? DOnt be stupid. The DIY way is the way that Hella does it at the factory on the "real" smoked lights.

I'll take one set with the city light hole, preferably the nicest pair with new OE adhesive you have on hand. I'd rather not paint these if they look spiffy. Paypal on the waypal.

I must say I'm somewhat weary about buying something from a complete newbie, but if you do us right by these transactions we'll spread the word.
