Hello r3v.
I am putting up for sale my s52 swap. This swap has been running flawlessly in my car since ’03 and I have put ~18,000miles on it with zero issues what so ever. It has been fun but its time to move on to bigger M engines in the e30. I am selling this as a completed plug and play swap with all mods and swap parts minus a transmission… however I do have some parts for a 6speed swap if the buyer is interested. The swap includes:
• ’99 S52 engine pulled from an M3
• Complete OBD1 swap including intake manifold.
• All sensors changed for the OBD1 swap were new from BMW
• 506 motorsport ECU with proper 318is ECU mount
• E30 M3 firewall wire covers
• OBD2 headers with air passages welded closed, modified for v-band outlet
• All accessories: including reman a/c compressor and new water pump
• Correct a/c lines for plug and play into an e30
• E36 M3 flywheel and clutch (I also have an e46 M3 flywheel and clutch if interested)
• Correct length throttle cable
• 535 engine mounts
• 320i modified brake booster
• 25mm 7 series master cylinder
• M42 radiator with hoses
• Custom airbox w/ K&N filter
• Euro 3.5” M3 MAF
• 24# injectors
• Turner motorsport software
• Throttle body coolant bypass
• E30 dash temp sensor manifold
• 3” Stainless exhaust from headers back to tips, includes magnaflow muffler and v-band connections
• Aluminum thermostat housing with new thermostat
• New 525 oil pan
• Oil pump nut safety wired on
• All wiring done for a plug and play install
The engine is in great mechanical shape with no leaks. None of the parts are junkyard parts. Everything that was needed was bought brand new from BMW. I would also be willing to wire in the buyers c101 plug for free with the correct wiring so it would really be as easy as dropping the engine in and plugging in. No warning lights from a tested tried and true swap. Anyone that has done a swap like this knows that it is the little parts that add up to increase the cost and take time. This has everything you need.
I have no idea really what to ask for something like this so I am asking $6250 for this plus shipping (freight) but I am open to offers. It cost me significantly more to piece it all together. Discounts would apply to anyone willing to come pick this up from me instead of shipping!!! PM is the best way to reach me and if anyone has any questions or needs anything else shown in the pics feel free to ask.
Thank you R3v
