M20b25 and 5 speed swap FS. (Houston, TX)

Im selling my non-running M20 and transmission because i want to go for an entirely new swap.

I can either sell the Motor itself or with the transmission. I could also sell the transmission along with all the associated clutch/shifter parts as a "5-speed swap"..

5speed swap would include-

• Getrag 260,
• Single mass flywheel,
• Clutch,
• Pressure plate,
• Throw out bearing,
• Clutch slave cylinder and soft line,
• Manual brake fluid reservoir
• Shifter assembly

Wont include-

• Clutch master cylinder and hard line.

The M20 ran perfect before the rod bearing spun, blew cold A/C, and ran well. The head was actually rebuilt and looks very fresh. The transmission shifted smoothly and had no grinds. I'm keeping master cylinder and hard line because i am swapping a different motor into the car. Would like to sell it locally, however i will ship on your coin.

Does the transmission have the old style tin shifter or the newer style aluminum bar shifter? What model and year is the car that the stuff came out of?

Would you be willing to part with just the single mass flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, and possibly the throwout bearing?

Well I'm interested in selling the 5 speed swap as a whole, but if for some reason that falls through I'll let you know.

I'm not entirely sure what type of shifter it has yet because im planning on pulling everything this weekend, and I posted this thread to gauge interest. However, the car is a 1989 325I, so it most likely has the aluminum shifter.

Ive got a Project 1991 325i that i could use that head and 5spd swap for, and im sure i could use some other parts off it too. Ill keep an eye on this and pm you soon.
