    AKG Transmission Mounts

These are basically brand new. I installed them for a day, so I can't return them.
They only take about 45min to install from the time you start pumping your floor jack to setting it back down on all fours.

    Straight from AKG's website:
"Transmission Mount Set - U.S. Military Spec Polyurethane 75D
    For BMW e30 (318, 323 and 325 only), e36 (318 323 325 328 M3) and e46 (323 325 328 330 M3), Z3 and Z4
    Recommended for race use only
    Set of two"

    $35 + shipping
    My loss, your gain.

Can you give feedback on them? Too much vibration? Did you switch back to OEM mounts?

Too much vibration and added noise for my liking on a daily driver (E46). I drive 130+ miles a day and enjoy silence sometimes.
I will be switching to their 95A "street" engine mounts with Stock E21 Transmission Mounts and Aluminum cups.

Now on my E30, I'm sure I will like the 75D's because that will only get driven for fun (Already have another set for that car).

Thanks for the explanation. I have custom 95A AKG engine mounts and they are too stiff causing slight chassis rocking at idle. So if you haven't already ordered, I'd recommend going slightly softer if you can.

Do your 95A's make stuff rattle and vibrate while accelerating from a stop at a normal pace? Or while cruising at highway speeds?

Now listed on ebay, along with the motor mounts.
Roughly $17.35 in savings than buying from AKG.
