As you might have seen, I have posted about my recent turbo disaster. Its nothing out of my reach repair wise, but it is out of my reach money wise. I am finally moving into a place I can call home, and have a few job offers going out for me. The last thing I really have time for is, unfortunately, what I have spent the majority of my money into for the past year.. my e30!
I know I will not make anywhere near back what I have into this thing, but it was a good learning experience and I just need to stick with staying in an NA vehicle for the time being. I am looking to sell this kit as a whole at the moment, and everything is pretty much <2 miles on it.
Turbo- Its a h1c replica I had baught rebuilt off ebay. T3 flange, easy to mount, and flows pretty decent for a basic e30 build. External WG
Manifold- CX racing, flows and fits tight and nice. Very easy to mount wg and downpipe
BOV- Tial 50mm, unpainted spring, worked fine
WG- Tial 38mm, 8psi spring, worked fine
IC & Plumbing- Cx racing ic, huge, with 2.5 inlet/outlet. Tapped boost controller feed, and has gm iat into the piping after the ic. Includes all couplers and the coupler to tb (does not use iac)
Downpipe- Custom 3'' downpipe with full exhaust ready to weld. I only drove it open downpipe
Wideband- Aem wideband with full gauge, worked great
Management- Whodwho megasquirt, tuned for this setup. Car started fine.
Engine:
m20b27 block oringed and honed, with full b25 internals including:new rings/bearings/rod bolts/gaskets. Comes with setup for custom oil feed.
Head- Resurfaced <1 mile ago, pressure tested, all new rocker arms. Just adjusted valves, new upper gaskets all around.
Clutch- F1 racing clutch with about 5k miles (Baught on here), 323i euro lightened flywheel, f1 pp, with a good known g265 trans.
Misc: e36 tps with einsteins adapter, Deleted iac, timing belt job has <1 mile on it, etc etc.
Diff- 2.93 lsd rebuilt at GPS with new fluid.
I am sure I am missing a lot more stuff. I am really putting this out as a feeler since I am moving and would be able to start parting after things settle the 1st of September. At the moment, would love to sell the car as a whole, but if not Its the kit as a whole.
For the kit, I am looking for 1800 obo. That is basically everything minus the engine listed. With the kit, engine/trans/diff, I would be looking for 3k obo.
If you were interested in getting the car as is, I would look to cut a deal. The car has little to no rust, a full interior with a crack free dash/hounds door cards/ nice head liner and carpet, decent front vinyl seats, etc.
Lets just put it this way, I have between 4.5k-5.5k into this project, probably in the higher end, without the cost of the car. If I parted the car, or just sold the kit and the car as a running b25 swapped eta sedan, I would make more then I am asking. But as of now, I am not really in a position to try to make the most that I can. I more or less would just need it out and to move on. Please let me know, and if you do not like the prices then move on aswell. I am already losing money, but not looking to give away the car as it was insane when it did drive. Thank you.
