I've watched this build from the start. This thing is stupid clean. Just about EVERYTHING is brand new.
It's a steal for the non-smog crew. It'll be a shame to see it parted out.

Excuse my ignorance about smog testing in CA, I am from PA. But why does it have to be OBDII compliant? I see you have a S50 valve cover, it didn't pass as one? If it is because of the engine being S52 OBDII, but they would be fine with a S50 why not trade somebody for an S50? An S50 is OBDI and they can't expect an OBDI engine to be OBDII compliant. It sucks to have to tear the engine out but if you can keep the car and swap just the engine, that is the route I would go. Basically the same engine. But I have no clue what type of smog or emission standards CA has, so this might be no help to you. I was just trying to help.How to remove, install or convert to pop out windows
