E30 885 Casting 2.5 Head Local Only

Selling a 2.5 Litre 885 Casting head for e30 88-91. This came off a friends block after he parted the engine because of an S50 swap. I got the head in trade for some tires I had. The head was recently rebuilt (about 7-10k miles, see pictures).
Cam, rockers and valves look good. Very clean head, valves look nice and straight. Visual inspection shows no cracks or bent or broken parts. Come see for yourself. $250.00 plus shipping for a bolt on head is not bad as they go for $500.00 and up. i will also consider trading for some Tan Sport Seats in good condition.

You are correct, I just wanted to avoid boxing and shipping a heavy item like that. I have shipped Vintage receivers across the country and they have arrived in perfect condition I guess a solid Aluminum head wold survive. Well its not a deal breaker if someone wants it shipped I will accomdate as long as the shipping costs are covered. Thanks Chrisbmx for the encouragement ::pimp:

I have packing materials to package the head, I just didn't want to hassle with it. I use 3 inches of foam on each side and a heavy duty box to do all of my shipping. I ship out Vintage electronics and only had 1 damage with about 80 that I have sent out.

So I guess shipping is offered at this point as I need to sell quick.

I agree with that. Wooden box bolted down so it doesn't move about. Cost about same as a transmission FIP'd in a rubbermaid container.
