I've been patiently and purposefully avoiding your misinformed posts, but well, you're just misinformed. Anthracite is dark grey, not black. (see RUFFLZ pic below)

Yes, it's true; e30 mats are now currently NLA.
Most websites will say they're available, but place your order and see what happens.
You'll get your money refunded every time.
If you call up your local bmw dealer, you MAY get lucky with dead stock that's not marked within the inventory. They have to do a specific search within their warehouse that for some reason doesn't show up in the system for other dealers.
So it's a bit of a glitch in the system, but it's worth calling up every dealer within a 40 mile vicinity to try your luck.
I'm a lucky sonna bitch and copped black mats yesterday and anthracite this morning.
Mats a make her dance 8)

    Truth. Thank you.

    * Sheesh--all this from a for sale thread?

You want to double check that? Part number 51471911407 should be anthracite, and it should be black. Part number 51479060387 are the silver floor mats. I just bought a set of anthracite mats....they were black.

Well now I'm confused. I received an anthracite set of floor mats today and they were black -___- also when you search other floor mats, for example the e46 their "anthracite" mats show up black.

I tried to take this discussion to the interior forum. Ill post updates there as I find out more info.

Do you have any idea of what you're talking about?

Anthracite is a charcoal gray while black is black.
              Who would've thunk?

Lol. This is ridiculous. Whoever bought the two floor mats needs to post part numbers. But in the mean time...

                    Great thread !

I'm not sure i'll be able to sully these endangered mats with my sneakers when i get them. I might just frame them or maybe offer private viewings for a modest fee.

it's the only way I lay it.

I think I may send in a submission to Petrolicious so they can do a segment on my rare, based, e30 oem, factory, EDM, NLA, discontinued anthracite mats that aren't black.

I have a set of black mats in my M3 which I won't be needing. Who wants them? They are OEM and in damn near new condition.
