        What happens if these get spun around? They only output light in one direction?

                Doubtful that would happen. They are pretty pinched in between the two terminals. When I install any festoon bulbs I bend the metal out a bit to add more pressure. Never had an issue.

                            interested if i can get confirmation that the CEL won't come on when i turn the exterior lights on. bought some on ebay, but my check panel comes on when i pop the switch.

                                i had a set of led's in my e46, i thought it was super bright but all i did was point the light slightly up instead of projecting strait on the license plate... still produced more light then the stock bulbs! and it looked oh so good.

                                    I tested them for a long time. If you stall the car or turn the lights on first it will pop the Check Panel warning. It's just like the HIDs. If you start the car and turn on the lights I have had no E30s with issues.

                                    Yes. If they are 36/37mm it will work.
