FS: (MA) Entire E36 M3 Drivetrain (S52, suspension, steering, 5speed, differential)

    SOLD!

I thought I'd post this here because these E36 M3 parts would make for a fantastic swap into an E30!

My prized 1998 E36 M3 Coupe was a victim of a rear end collision. The car has 71,000 miles on it and ran BEAUTIFULLY before the accident this past August. Included in this deal is:

-S52 Motor. Water pump and thermostat replaced ~2000 miles ago and plastic thermostat housing upgraded to an aluminum housing. All else is bone stock @71,000 miles. It purred.
-ECU, wiring, intake, etc... all there.
    -5 speed transmission
    -Differential, driveshaft
-Suspension (new control arms installed 500 miles ago)
-Brakes (also replaced 2000 miles ago)

All were in great, working condition at the time of the accident.

Basically you get most everything you see in these pics. The interior and exhaust are gone. The easily removable body panels are not included but the bits that make the car go have been untouched. The rear end collision bent the unibody in the rear but the car still starts and runs. The unibody folded up the spare tire compartment leaving the rear suspension and differential undamaged.

I don't have the tools or capability to remove these parts so they will all come neatly packaged in an E36 M3 shell. The good news is that once you remove the parts you want, you can sell the shell and get scrap value for it! You'll also get the 4 E36 M3 Doublespoke II rims + the spare.

    $3250, pickup in MA.

When my car got rear ended, the insurance company took my car to IAA for an "assessment" pretty much thinking I wouldn't want it back and slapped one of those stickers on the Windsheild too, they pretty much prepped it for auction without my permission . Fucking USSA has a backwards ass way of doing things.

That is exactly what happened in my case. The insurance company didn't even notify me that I had the option of buying the car back from them. In the meantime I had found my car up on the auction's website! The auction start date was "pending" but it was strange to see my car there.

I'm still in mourining. I've had this E36 M3 since 1999. I babied it, took care of it, and put money into making it look and run great. Stripping it and selling the remains hurts! At least the parts will live on in another BMW!
