    FS: UUC big brake kit

Selling my UUC big brake kit. Going back to stock brakes. Nothing wrong with these, but they're overkill for what I use the car for. They've been installed for about 6 months and have about 6k miles on them. Rotors are good and pads are good. Pads are Hawk DTC-30. Kit will include both calipers, stainless lines, 2pc rotors and pads. Looking for $700 (retail is about $1k). Kit is currently on car. Will be off in about 2 weeks......before cars goes in to storage for winter.

Just curious, why do you see them as overkill? To much bite for daily use?

No.....just more than I need. If you want the "look" than they're great. If you have a track driven car with (enter your swap here), than this is perfect. I autox and might track 2-3 times a year and the track I drive at doesn't require lots of brake.

Nothing wrong with these, but I'd rather go back to 15x8 wheels with R-compounds.

I love my UUC BBK, amazing bite for daily and heavy abuse in Autox/track.

I'll try this weekend. They're on the car right now but will be coming off shortly.
