what would happen if you put 92 in on a 91 chip? Any detonation?

No, it'd be better with 92. It's the other way around if when you get detonation.

I ran 92 octane with the chip and it was great. My stock 325i motor made 150rwhp/150rwtrq with 120k miles with this chip.

I've had Conforti chips in both my previous cars and ran 93 in both of them. Ran great.
