As the title states, I Completed this s50 swap March of last year and have only put about 2500 miles on the car and really love it, but got an amazing deal on a ls1 and t56 combo with 40k miles on them.
What you get:
Basically everything you need to drop this engine right in your car, im sure ill miss a thing or 2
~95 m3 S50B30 (265 256 ,iirc, schrick cams, with the upgraded retainers for 96+ when the cams were put in. 24 lb injectors. 3.5 maf. TRM chip. bimmerworld intake elbow.)
~matching zf trans (shifts like butter)
~New factory e36 M3 clutch with 2500 miles. still has the old flywheel but good condition.
~Complete finished working wire harness. (working cel,oil level sensor,econo gauge everything works. and has the x20 replaced with the c101.
~Red label 413 included.
~ e34 iirc radiator with built in expansion tank, includes spal curved blade pusher fan on it. Both new at swap
~Project orca modified brake booster. New at swap
Revshift swap disk (new at swap) which i have a fresh rebuild kit for ill throw in. Plus stock e30 driveshaft.
~New belt and hoses all trimmed to fit perfectly
~All gaskets were replaced before dropping in the motor
~ Motor Mounts and tranny mounts were also new at time of swap.
~the motor has ebay ss rep headers which fit nicely but ill also throw in a set of obd2 tubular headers with the o2 ports welded closed.
~full exhaust with a magnaflow cat and vibrant streetpower muffler 2.5" all the way back. (All new at time of swap with new e36 bosch o2)
~the perfect fitting throttle cable (i forget which one at the point)
~ only thing this swap will not come with is A/C. i never got it and was never interested in putting it on
Im sure im forgetting a few things but the setup is in the car right now and i took it out for a spin yesterday. no cel has ever been on except when i drove it without the o2. This car runs really strong.
i see these posts about 1/4 mile times with this swap. mine ran a 13.5 at 103 with the slip to prove it. (better than a lot of guys ive seen) and thats with the 2.93 rear running like a 2.6 60' :(
i will take pics and post them as interest comes in but at this point im still feeling things out. ill do a comression test and take pics of each cylinder but a year and a half ago when the motor was purchased it was 201-208psi on all 6 cylinders and i doubt much has changed,(i havent driven the thing enough to hurt it :(
I would like to get somewhere around $4,000 for absolutely everything
Im located in Frederick MD and would REALLY REALLY prefer local pickup but if someone wanted to shell out mula to ship i could throw it on a couple pallets.
I also have the old g260 from my m20 that i have had laying around i would be willing to sell for an extra 200 plus shipping. that thing also shifted nicely
