Unfortunately compression numbers weren't taken before the engine was pulled. It was a running engine, came out of a wrecked 97' that was in a rear end collision. I wish I would of requested compression numbers when I bought it, would be a lot easier to sell if there was some #'s.Comment

Update: I called the company I purchased the engine from, they said they record all the compression numbers and information about the engine before pulling it. They said they had to find "the packet" that has all that info so hopefully I should have some more information later today.Comment

No, the company I purchased the engine from also performed the compression check and didn't give me any paperwork for the compression check. I initially thought those numbers were high as well, most s52's read somewhere around 190. I was told it was a "wet" compression test and that the numbers always read little bit higher than normal.Last edited by Mlarsen; 11-08-2013, 03:26 PM.Comment
