You're correct, I have not had an e30 sedan to use yet in my area. I do plan to offer those as well when I get a chance. Time has been very, very tight this year though, so I can't say for sure when I ill be able to make another template for those.

Technically, it doesn't clear completely... but it's not enough to deter most people. Where the top corner of the motor touches the back of the panel, there's a small indent. You can see it here:

Small washers could also be used if you want to avoid this, or shaving the corner of the window motor casing might work. So far nobody has bothered.
