    mercedes 190e 2.3 16 part out

In my ongoing and frustratingly fruitless search for e30 m3 project parts I came across a lightly wrecked and 100% complete '86 Mercedes 190e 2.3 16 sitting in the back of an older european repair shop. Much to my amazement, no one at the shop knew what it was. So it is now in my overcrowded carport. But must be gone asap.
The car is complete- All mechanical bits are there. Body is all there, and in nice shape. Bumpers, body kit, spoiler all good. seats are very rough from being baked in memphis sun for last 10 years.
I am dismantling over the next few days, and it will be gone. I don't have the time or space to dismantle every bit of it, so if you need something out of the ordinary, let me know, I'll remove it.
I don't yet know how to price these parts, as I've been strictly bmw lately. But i will post prices over the next couple days.
Let me know what you need, with offers if you wish, I will post pics and information as I gather it. Thanks.

Why not sell it whole? Any pics of it? I'd be interested.

    Smoke silver or graphite?

Sorry for delay in getting back to everyone.
It seems everyone wants the car whole. I don't blame anyone for this sentiment. This was my feeling as well. Tragically, this car changes gears automatically. Yep, its got the optional auto transmission. I can't imagine anyone still wanting to restore this car.
Also, it has been sitting in the elements for over ten years, the interior is shot, and the paint is oxidized beyond saving. Strictly a parts car.
On top of all that, it was a Bill of Sale transaction. It will take a month to get papers for it where you could then register and title it.
If it was a clean manual trans. car I'd say sure, its worth bringing back, but this one is parts only. I need to dismantle those desirable parts people need, and send it to the crusher. I've already broken down the good interior bits- cluster, 3 gauge panel, seats, exterior body kit, bumpers, trunk spoiler, engine coming out tomorrow. I believe the auto cars have the same lsd as the manuals, correct me if I am wrong. But planning on getting front and rear suspensions and whatever else anyone else says they need.
          Pics up soon

LOL! I know, I've never really known much about these 201's, but in pursuing all things e30 m3 you can't help but stumble across references to the 190 2.3 16. the two cars are undeniably linked developmentally and historically in roadracing. I've owned (and appreciated) several models from both marques, they each have their own strengths. My current allegiance to the bimmers was born out of the huge aftermarket support and information available to modifying/ upgrading that just isn't there for merc's. The more I look at pics of these cosworth 201's the better they look. You sure can't beat the price vs. current e30 m3 market!
In truth anything I make off these parts will go directly to fund my e30 m3 build (the irony!)

i need one tiny trim piece (rear psgr fender sideskirt piece) assuming you're not selling the kit as a whole, which you should be.

A friend just picked one of these up as a stable mate to his e30M, sent him a link in case he needs any parts.

Yeah sorry, keeping it whole. Anything else you need though?

I have better pics of the engine and body kit which I can send to anyone interested. My links to my photobucket were not working on here. The clock shows 105k, the engine spins freely has good compression, I see nothing on the engine to doubt the mileage. Rest of car suspension, brakes, trans, driveline all good. Contact me for pictures.

I'm thinking 1000?(adjusted) plus shipping for the whole body kit, both bumpers, trunk spoiler and all pieces. All pieces are there with exception of one removeable sideskirt trim "tab" and the front bumper towhook cover. All pieces are in solid shape without tears in the mounting holes. Or make an offer.
