Hi everyone. Thinking about letting this go. I have been sitting on this part for the last 4 years, and am starting to realize I may never install it hah.
Overall this is in pretty decent shape, but just like any other 25 year old part its got some imperfections.
Most notably, it can no longer be considered a 2 piece spoiler. The plastic trim piece bolts and nuts were pretty rusted. So instead of risking further damage in trying to take them apart, I used industrial strength epoxy to affix the plastic piece permanently to the spoiler. This included filling the bolt holes with this stuff (pictured), and applying it between the mating surfaces.
Lastly, there is a small knick atop the plastic piece (pictured), and very little rash on one corner of the rubber portion of the spoiler (pictured). These are both very minor and can be fixed if desired.
I painted the plastic portion with 3 coats of schwartz paint, and 3 coats of clear. But of course this will need to be painted if you want it to match your car. I was planning on painting the rubber portion with SEM Trim Black, but since I am selling it I'll leave that up to the new owner.
All mounting bolts are intact and rust free, so no issues there.
SOLD: $300 Shipped
