Now $100 O.B.O.
I am offering for sale an OEM phone system pulled from a '96 e38 740il. Unlike almost every other carphone on the planet, you can still use this due to what I have done inside. This phone now functions as a bluetooth handset. Also, I have maintained all of the original internals as well so that it can still be powered on and light up.
The Phone Handset
It began as a standard analog BMW phone. I pulled the entire phone system from an e38 so that it could still light up. Internally, I installed the guts of a "retro bluetooth handset" (which was much more suited to the task than a standard earpiece) and wired it to the speaker and mic of the phone. Everything was soldered, as should be done when doing internal electronic work. I have not had any problems with call quality or pairing. It operates as a normal handset utilizing even the original handset button, placed on the opposite side of the phone as its original keypad.

The button is next to the red/blue indicator light. There are two things that you need to be aware of with the phone itself, though. First, as it is a handset, you can not dial using the original keypad. If it was possible, I would have done it. Secondly, as shown above, it does have to be charged.
If you would like to hear what it sounds like, PM me your number. I'll call you on it8)
Phone Module/Cabling
It is attached to the factory e38 bracket, which can be mounted in the trunk. If you are concerned about it only being able to power up when the ignition is on, you will need two power feeds - a switched and unswitched feed. If you don't care about that, just run a power feed to the switched and unswitched sides, and then a ground. Run the main cable through the hole underneath the ski pass through, under the rear seat, under the carpet, and it will pull out around the ebrake.
Also, I have the lock codes for the phone, which will go with it.
Console(s)
E30 console has no upholstery left, and has been painted. I would say it's a 7/10. There are imperfections, but most are not visible without looking for them. There is a small gap at the front, between the phone and the console. It never bothered me. The e38 console is not in that good of shape, but the phone is literally made to fit it perfectly. Therefore, I'll throw it in.
Antenna
Though the phone module can't actually make any calls, it is still transmitting. Therefore, it needs an antenna. If you run it without it, you risk killing the brain and no longer allowing the phone to light up. It is a glass mount antenna. For reference, BMW always put them in the top-center of the rear windshield.
