    FS: Electrodyne Lowering springs

For sale is a very nice set of Electrodyne lowering springs, these are also refered to as racing dynamic springs, but are made by Electrodyne for Racing Dynamics. The drop is 1.75" or 40mm all the way around, and are advertised as fitting fitting any E30 with 51mm struts except for the IX and M3.
Springs are in excellant condition, Asking $160 shipped anywhere in the U.S.

how do these compare to the "green" RD springs? more of a drop, less of a drop?

Considering I have the Greens on my car, I compared them last saturday and the sprigns are the same length, so I'd assume the same amount of drop.

                I agree.

Stu has a set of these as well.

I love the springs, I'd just like to know what they are. :P

They drop a little lower than H&R sports supposedly.

here is a pic (NOTE: Stu is on 205-50-15 undersized tires) And a heavy tool box in the trunk. There would be .5" less of a gap between the tire and fender, with the car having more rake, possibly the rear a lil proportionally higher.

And this is a great deal on springs!

edit:: ... there is a one number difference in the PNs between Ely's and Stu's, so who knows that that means

but if you refer to electrodyne's website, the springs are sold for "BMW 325 84-91, Cabrio 87-93", so the company intended these to be used for 325i's, 325is's, and 325ic's.

                        Thanks, I'm interested then.

Also beside lowering are the RD harsher compared to H/R sports?

I'd ask Stu what the ride is like, and since your cabby would be heavier, they should feel even less harsh than what he thinks.
