Just picked up a Euro spec 1985 320i with ~123k miles. Previous owner said mileage was accurate & that he got it with 80k.
Was hoping to pick up another early model to swap everything onto, that may not be coming through unfortunately. So, everything is for sale! The body itself is rusty so body panels are prob no good (sunroof panel looks ok). Car is schwarz with tan leather interior. Located in Buffalo, NY. Willing to ship at buyer's expense
Parts of interest:
Euro bumpers and valance
Rear sun shade parcel shelf w/clips
Rear seats w/headrests (tan leather)
German check panel
Tan leather sport seats
"is" rear spoiler, rear deck lid may be free of rot I'll take a look tomorrow
m20b20 I presume with 123k. I may put a battery in it, give it a stomp test tomorrow and see if it runs
Automatic transmission, rebuilt prior to storing the car (sat for 6 years)
Will have to check tomorrow for euro rear light covers. Didn't check the cylinder head casting, is it a head preferable for strokers? I don't remember, been so long since I had an m20 car. Euro bumpers aren't perfect, but they're pretty nice. Valance has surface rust, will have to pull to further assess.
Any other euro bits of value?
