I made this clock out of an actual brake rotor. The rotor is cross-drilled and the friction surface has been turned smooth for a nice appearance. The center and outside edge has been painted satin black. On top of everything is a coat of clear coat to prevent rust. All hardware is stainless steel. The clock movement is a standard quartz movement that runs off of a single AA battery. Comes with red hands. All numbers, dots and roundel are exterior grade vinyl guaranteed for 5+ years in all weather conditions, so it should last pretty much forever indoors. The hands will come not on the clock to prevent them getting damaged and will need to be put on by the buyer. It's as simple as just pressing them into place.
