Sadly this is a perfect example where a one fits all design does not work. This type of failure in not limited to this shifter, I see it all the time, in fact many of the old DTM copy shifter failed like this too. The lower pivot point is way too long, it was only a matter of time before it failed, shame really as it sounds a few of you have invested money.
