Auto Dim or Electrochromic mirror for the early cars. I wanted one for my 6er but could not find anything past the map light mirrors. This is a combination of an e32 mirror with a e24 mount. Some modification to make it work. Three wire hookup with hot, ground and reverse light cut-out. Reverse wire is not necessary but can be wired from the center console.
