I have an afm that I pulled off my 325e, of which I believe its the same as an I but dont quote me on that, to run intercooler piping.
I didn't have any driveability issues with it, and I am about 99% sure I tested this one a few weeks back when I thought my buddy needed an afm. Prior to sale, I will test the continuity of the barn door for even resistance, and the intake air temp sensor for a valid reading.
