MOTOR IS SOLD, TRANS STILL AVAILABLE
Might be trading these for an aluminum M52 + a bunch of swap parts, so this may get taken down if that goes through. It's up in the air at the moment, so I thought I'd post a thread to test the waters.
I've got an S62b50 and 420g 6 speed that was going to be swapped into my e30. I have a lot less time and space now, so I'm planning on just throwing another 24v back in to get back out on the track. I miss track days too much.
$600 for the trans.
The motor is priced this cheaply for a reason - you're going to need a welder and some replacement parts. It was pulled out of a car that had been in a front end collision. I snagged a replacement oil pan and crank pulley, but it still needs an oil pump. The oil pump pickup was destroyed along with the oil pan, and sadly they are pretty much one unit so it's not a matter of just grabbing a new pickup. There is some surface rust on a few cam lobes from it sitting. It was pulled out of an '01 with ~60k miles IIRC. There was damage to motor mount bosses, one throttle body flange is broken, there is a crack in the intake plenum, a TPS sensor was damaged, and a belt tensioner boss on the timing cover was damaged.
