I purchased this S/C kit from a bimmerforums.com member in 2012 with the intention of going F/I at some point. When I bought the kit it did not have injectors or tune. There was a small chip in the S/C blades but previous owner had made decent power on an M50 (~250 whp w/ 10 psi pulley) with this setup, injectors, and an AA obdI c30 s/c tune for 10psi pulley.
So that's the history-
I've since moved and did not have a chance to install the kit on my vehicle (E34 525i) and the S/C and parts were in storage for over 1 year. I bought a set of red top injectors and was planning to piece the rest of it together.
When I inspected the parts recently, for some reason the shaft just does not turn freely and I assume it's bent and/or has another issue. So for all intents and purposes the S/C should be assumed to need a rebuild. Rather than store things for longer while the rest of my build is still in progress I'd like to just sell it cheap.
Hence the low price of $850 shipped within the continental US.
(The parts are in the US and everything will ship from upstate NY 12205)
In a nutshell, main parts missing from full kit are: Tensioner, tune, AA front mount I/C. The 8 psi, 10 psi pulleys are included as well. The tensioner and other small hardware is still available from AA, I called them a few months back and they were happy to put together the other small parts for this older kit.
