Seats are a huge PITA to package and cost a fortune to ship. Not to mention both times I've done it something ended up bent. While it does suck if you particularly wanted them, you're much better off waiting to find something locally.

Understood. I also wound up driving close to 6 hours to get my sport seats, so I feel your pain. Just trying to explain the rationale for why people choose not to ship seats.

But I can understand your rationale.... I am trying to find the gem otherwise it essentially equates to reupholstering in costs if I buy and cover shipping way across country. I already have a busted set waiting just in case I decide that route which seems like I might have to.
