I had this speedometer in my car and it would work sometimes and other times it wouldn't move. I replaced the cluster and have this gauge laying around. Not sure if it was incompatible with my cluster (it was a VDO cluster but with a motometer board) so not sure if that was the problem or if it was the si board batteries, or if the gauge just needs the solder reflowed. The only determination I was able to make was that it wasn't due to speed sensor since the new speedo with the new cluster i installed works fine. This might be a good find if your skilled enough to work on these things. Also I'm pretty sure one of the odometer gears is missing and that's why the odometer never worked. The one I replaced it with has a 3rd gear but this one only looks to have two. $30 shipped.
