Trying to sell off whats left of my parts stash to fund my 1974 2002 project.
These parts are from a 1998 Z3 M. This 5 lug swap offers very large rear brakes, large wheel bearings, beefy heavy-duty half shafts, and braced and reinforced trailing arms. The MZ3 rear trailing arms are a bolt on to the E30 sub frame (or run them on the MZ3 subframe that is included in the sale), the only difference (aside from the larger brakes, etc) is that track width is increased. I do not have the exact figure, but I want to say I read its about 2 inches wider, so a higher offset rear wheel is required to fit under the rear fender flare (some 16's will clear these but 17s are what came on the MZ3 from the factory). These parts are very uncommon and I regret having to list them for sale, but I do not have my 5 lug e30 anymore so they must go to a new home.
What's included in this sale:
MZ3 trailing arms
MZ3 brakes (calipers, used rotors and pads)
MZ3 half shafts
MZ3 axle stubs
MZ3 subframe and hardware
Box of all the e-brake components that came off the car.
+750iL 25mm master cylinder
The suspension had ~85k on it IIRC. The rear half shafts are in great shape, no torn boots and the CV joints are nice and smooth. The rear rotors might need to be swapped out for new ones soon, I'd do brake pads at that time too just so its all fresh. Other than that, the MZ3 parts are in excellent condition and are ready to bolt up to your e30. The master cylinder is also a direct bolt on to most all e30s, the M3 is an exception as it requires a new brake fitting to connect up the brake lines to this master cylinder. I have ran a 750iL MC on all of my e30s (1987/88/90/91).
*MZ3 Rotor Size: 312x20mm
*E30 Rotor Size: 258x10mm
Here is a link to a basic installation guide in fitting this onto an e30:
Asking $1600 (SOLD) picked up in San Jose, CA with cash or PayPal+fees ONLY. I will deliver them or meet up in the Bay Area. Shipping can be arranged however you'd like them sent. The only trade I will accept as of this time is my MZ3 parts going towards an s14 from an e30 M3 to power my 2002 ;D.
Ill get pictures up when I can make it over to storage and unpack them.
