Not a good discussion, in fact a fresh (or heavily back cut) valve seat can have an even bigger effect than a cam's reduced base circle. Something that thread misses entirely.

It's true in in the broad scope that the rocker geometry is changed every so slightly with a reground cam, but it's also true on some aggressive race cams (because to reach certain numbers a reduction of base circle would be needed from the outset), the reality is that on an M20 that change is negligible at best. This cam COULD need oversize eccentrics or lash caps, you will not know for sure until you've got it mocked up.

Great price for a fun race cam though. I'm sure somebodies going to grab it.
