Short Shift Kit includes:
-Late model aluminum shifter arm with CNC'd aluminum carrier bushings.
-Garagistic delrin rear carrier bushing.
-UUC late model M20 DSSR, homemade hardware (works flawlessly).
-E36 M3 shift rod swivel joint.
-Z3 2.8/3.0l short shift selector rod (epoxied on the bottom side to remove any squishiness from the internal OEM rubber insert in the shifter).
-Bilstein weighted shift knob.
This set up will remove essentially all lateral and front-to-back slop. Gear shifting will be more crisp than you ever thought possible in your e30. I ran this same set up but with the E60 shirt shifter seen broken in the picture. I twisted the forked part off attempting to remove my metal shift knob. The included 2.8/3.0l shifter is shorter than the 1.9l Z3, and is IMO one of the best all around shifters. Feel free to ask me anything about the set up, do your HW on the 2.8/3.0l shifter.
You will receive the shifter arm pre-modified with bushings installed, Z3 short shifter rod, e36 swivel joint, UUC DSSR, Bilstein weighted shift knob, used shifter cup bushing, hardware. I didn't need to shim my aluminum carrier bushings on my 1988 325iS, but 2 Home Depot washers might be needed when you install this onto your e30. Just check to make sure the connection between the shifter arm and the top of the trans is solid with no lateral movement possible. Add washers to make the connection tight when securing this arm with the commonly referred to "bitch clip".
Broken shifter is not included.
