Plug and Play CD43 Adapter OEM

I recently retrofitted a CD43 into my E30. I wanted a factory no-splice look so I opted for the OEM adapter harness. I checked with my dealer but the price was around $70. I eventually found a radio place in France but they required a 4 count minimum for international shipping. Now I have 3 extra harnesses on my workbench.

    Part number is 65 12 9 410 558 (65129410558)

It has the large female E36 connector for CD43 and Euro blaupunkt radios and plugs straight into the late E30 wiring harness. Important to note this has the 4 channel input (late E30s) compared to the 2 channel input (early E30s). Make sure you have 4 speaker wires going to the back of your radio. This should be compatible with most plastic bumpered finger sensor headunits.

These are new in the package except the one I opened to take pictures.

Asking $35 shipped. Open to offers since I couldn't find any recent sales.

They were liquidating most of their old BMW audio equipment. I didn't see any 2 channel adapters for sale. I will send them an email though!

        Nice lineup by the way!

Awwww I would have totally bought this and a CD43 instead of going aftermarket 6 months ago! Now I cut stock wires, crap! Someone will enjoy this, but now I'm pissed off. I hate splicing wires!!!!

RLGDiesel, when you retrofitted the CD43 in your E30, since you didn’t have the premium sound system, are you running without an amp? Did your power antenna work okay? How is the sound compared to your original radio?
I’m looking to retrofit a CD 43 into my E30 also.
                  Thanks

….I’m assuming that you didn’t have the premium sound system. Is that true?
