What's up e30ers? Sounds like you just bought an S52.... You need my oil pan, pickup and dipstick! Came off an e34, I cleaned it pretty well but couldn't get into the tight corners very well. $sold

food for thought. you can get a heavy duty oven cleaner, spray the sonovabitch up n down, then bring it to the carwash and they look brand new afterwards. just spray it while your in the bay, its pretty toxic... let sit about 15 minutes and grease literally falls off
