For everyone who asked, here is a comparison of the US kidney grill and Euro kidney grill. Notice the Euro grill (chrome still) has on the upper forth of the grill there is a plastic filler that runs behind the vertical slats. It is what connects the eyebrow lines of the Euro headlamp grills to give it that clean look.
