    2014 M Team Shirts F/S - Order Deadline July 25th

All, I'm taking orders for the 2014 M Team shirt. This is the 12th Annual shirt (hard to believe!). This year featuring the #6 Watson's Car that ran in the 1991 Guia Race on the streets of Macau. The car finished 1st in the race and driven by Emanuelle Pirro back when he was a factory BMW works driver.

Like previous years, the graphic is printed large on the back, and small on the left front chest.

Deadline to order is July 25. I then compile the orders, get the shirts made here in Seattle, then package them up and mail them out. I won't keep any extra inventory after that so order by July 25 or miss out. Shirts will then mail out mid-August.

I can take PayPal or a personal check or money order.

Available are T-shirts ($25), long sleeve T's ($28) and really nice sweatshirts ($36). We use the best quality materials so they last a long time and are very comfortable. Life is too short for cheap T-shirts. Graphics are screened on with ink for sharp colors and long life too.

Offering it up on a black apron too, looks fantastic.

Shippping is $4 for the first shirt, $3 for each additional shirt.

If you have any questions, or have problems downloading the PDF order form, let me know and I can e-mail it to you directly. Directions to order by PayPal are also in the PDF file. Don't PM me, but contact me at: Lance at Richertnet dot com

More info on the race from the side of the box that holds my 1:24 scale Watson's #6 model. :)

"The Macau Grand Prix, a 6.2 km (3.8 miles) street circuit combining long, fast stretches with sharply twisting corners, is recognized as one of the most demanding races in the world. It has attracted many international drivers, including Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher and Mike Hakkinen, who have competed strongly to secure a win. A victory in Macau can guarantee the driver a career in racing and, in the case of exceptional talent, an immediate invitation to move up to Formula 1. 1991 was the first year that the DTM (German Touring Car Championship) factory teams of BMW and Mercedes-Benz raced in Asia alongside Group A contenders such as the mighty Nissan Skyline GTR, a car which had won practically every race held in Asia and Australia at one time or another. Sponsored by Watson, the Hong Kong pharmaceutical and grocery giant, the BMW factory team, Schnitzer, entered two BMW M3 DTMs in the Guia saloon car race. Mercedes-Benz countered with three 190E 2.5-16 EVO II DTMs. The Nissan Skyline GTR, driven by the Japanese racing champion, Kazuyoshi Hoshino, took the lead at the start of the race but after a few laps, with the turbocharger engine and tires overheating slightly, Emanuella Pirro, driving a BMW M3, car #6, easily assumed the lead and won the race comfortably. The Mercedes-Benz 190E DTMs took second and third places whilst the other BMW M3 DTM finished fourth."

Edit: after watching the video, it appears that Schnitzer brought three BMW M3s, running BMW factory drivers Pirro, Winkelhock and Ravaglia.

            Full Race on Youtube

And thanks to Youtube, here's the race. First couple of laps give you an idea of how it went down. Pirro then cruised to a BMW win. What language is this in?
