Mounts with isolated ends are generally preferred over mounts with straight through bolts because the straight through design does not provide proper dampening. With the straight through design you basically have a polyurethane mount when the engine pushes down but then a solid mount when the engine pulls up on the mount. The straight through mounts also prevent a consistent bolt torque from being achieved because the more you tighten the bolt the more the mount compresses. Then when you drive the car the mount squishes as you go over bumps and accelerate which causes the torque on the bolt to loosen and tighten over and over again. This puts unwanted strain on the bolts and the vehicle's chassis.
Now, a mount with isolated ends has the same dampening characteristics whether it is being compressed or stretched. Also, independent ends allows you to torque the bolts to the factory specs and be confident that they will stay properly torqued.
Thank you, and I would like to start offering isolated mounts as well soon. For now, seems everything is working out just fine. Please check back at a later time if you'd like to purchase some the other way. Merry Christmas everyone, no more ENGINE mounts in stock at this time.

He hasn't been around for a pretty good while. Damn good dude though. I have these and they appear to be great quality. They are still waiting for me to finish the car...

If you can't get a hold of him and need a set of engine mounts fast, I have a brand new pair available.

I will when they get replaced.
They are perfectly intact. Solid hard plastic.

Hey Curt, the eBay price for motor mounts only is $79. You paid just a couple dollars more and also got transmission mounts, basically for free. Hope you are enjoying them.

You had them at $75 for both on r3v, I paid $88 randomly. I also didn't get all the hardware with them. Neither is a big deal to me. I havent mounted them, but they are seemingly a good deal. I am not trying to complain or be a dick.

                                $79 Engine
                                $45 Trans

                                -$49 discount

This is what you told me. I can post your PM to me if you like.
