    Bavarian Autosport cabrio sport springs

I have for sale a set of low mileage BavAuto sport/lowering springs for an e30 convertible. They are in great shape and I'll post some pics of them tomorrow. Needless to say, they are powder coated red. Price $140 +shipping from Maine. SOLD!

These are the proper spring rate for a cabrio. They are too stiff for a regular 325i and will ricer boi bounce the crap outta you.

OP: What is the lowering rate on these?

No idea on the specific spring rates. Good question. I might shoot Bavauto an email and ask. They are Bavauto's part # SK E30C 016. I know they are slightly shorter than H&R sports for a cabrio after seeing them side by side.

Bavauto won't tell you the rates. I've called with that question before. But I can say that I have them, and I'm completely pleased with them. They are wonderful for a fun-in-the-twisties yet still comfortable DD. Bump for you!

Thanks, Ether! Agreed, they are really great springs on a cabrio, sharpening the handling without wrecking the ride. If I had a car to stick them on, I'd keep em.

will these be better for a 318 cabrio? I have hr sports from a 318 coupe but feel like the back is too soft.

                        Thanks

They should be stiffer than 318 springs, and, at least for H&R brand springs, it is the rears that are stiffer on the cabrio sets vs. the coupes. The fronts are the same. However, I looked at the Bavauto website and the 318ic is not listed as a match for these springs. Maybe they are too stiff? Perhaps regular 318i springs up front would work with coupe 325s in the back?

Thanks, that's kind of what I was thinking.
