WTT: cosmo coilovers for more modest springs (NE OH)

Cosmo coilovers for E30, 450/560 rates. Linear springs. Rides on rails, stiff, adjustable.

used for 2 or 3 years. Nothing wrong with them but I don't do enough autocross, want to turn the car down and daily drive it. I'd like a taller and lighter spring, something with progressive rate instead of linear rate. Maybe HR sport or along those lines. I can also trade front strut tubes with the perches cut off for stock style if we're trading springs. Location is west side of Cleveland, OH.

I know we're talking about a setup that's only $200 new but hey it's worth a shot, win-win if one of you want tighter springs without spending that cash.

Okay well let me know if you ever want to sell them. I might buy them new in the next few days. How do they ride?

it's a linear rate spring, so the car always feels planted and has very little roll. it's very fun on the freeway. large bumps in the street can be harsh, if you hit something like a speed bump too fast it'll bounce ya. I suppose that goes for any high-rate spring.
I thought it was great for the price for autocross but i'm turning it down for a daily driver, i need it to be able to handle potholes and nasty roads. Also (like most coilovers and higher rate springs) they ride kinda low. I want to be higher up now.

I may have a set of h&r sports I may be willing to trade. Have to check part #'s and make sure they really are h&r sports, they've been on the shelf in the garage for a while. I'll get back to you when I get home this evening and get a chance to look.
