        Tempting, but the motor looks pretty haggard. Care to share any history on it? Build date, VIN, dealer maintenance records? Have you had a look at the valvetrain?

          Haven't had it apart it's just been sitting that's all, valves sprayed with pb blaster so they would not corrode.

                  Which cylinder had the knock? Are you willing to pull the pan and bearing to check the crank? I've seen failed bearings damage cranks. They are repairable but new custom bearings and possibly rods are needed.

                      Considering the head without cams and lifters sells for 1100 this is a steal guys come on, and also the oil pan was taken off an the crank and rods inspected there is no bends or cracks. It's good

                        You should fix it, then sell it. Will be a lot easier to move.
                        Drive it hard. Maintain it well.
