                      These are NOT Euro ellipsoids, these are US ellipsoids. The euro ellipsoids have the smileys on them.

                      That being said, they are in very good condition.

                          Considering he's from Germany, Id like to question your verdict. Also if Im not mistaken US ellipsoids were 9006 and 9005 bulbs and these appear to be h1.

                                  Yes, these are european H1 ellipsoid headlights from an early facelift model (not early model!) before the smiley cutouts were introduced. These were used in model year 87/88 euro cars.
