I have a wrecked 1988 325is manual for sale.
No frame damage. Strong m20 motor rebuilt last year. Full top end including all new valves camshaft.
Have a family friend that owns a transmission shop. Did the following work in the last year: Clutch master cylinder full shifter linkage rebuilt drive shaft complete with cross member carrier bearings
My estimate of what the car needs, parts wise: Driver side fender, hood, headlights**, grill**, kidneys**, radiator, alternator*, maf*, fan, glovebox**, radio, heater control unit**, center dash faceplate, shifter-knob* and boot*, pop out windows*, oilpan (has small hole at bottom from tow truck driver puncturing it, maybe possible to weld). Going to try to weld soon, put oil in, and prove that it runs.
Items with "*" I have removed from car.
Items with "**" I have replacement parts for.
Below pic of damaged oil pan.
I recently removed most of the parts damaged from the crash.
Also, the car currently has bottle cap rims. I have a set of weaves but only two have tires. Of the two without tires, One has curb rash and the other is bent and shakes a bit.
I'd prefer to sell the car as a whole rather than just part it out.
