I bought this to use for a microsquirt conversion on my e30 but decided to go with a bigger pulley instead. According to VAC the trigger sensor and mount they sell for S14 engines will work with this. Here is a message I got from them regarding trigger sensors and overheating when idling:
"The S14 crank trigger kit should work with the billet crank pulley you already have you would just have to have the engine tuned for the trigger ring you use. The s14 timing cover and the m10 covers are so similar that only minimal mods may be needed if any at all.
As for the water pump we have had several race cars run in the paddock to warm up without any problems with overheating. I would guess that could also have to do with the radiator and if you are running an electric fan kit or not."
Here's a link to the pulley on their site: http://store.vacmoto...ulley-p960.aspx
I partially installed it once but stopped when I realized my 318i timing pin would need a little filing.
The pulley alone sells for $250, and the cost for the pulley with trigger wheel installed is $350, I'll ask $250 obo.
