I think it's understood that the finish is different because of the refresh. I don't want you to think that I suggested it isn't real because of the finish. I definitely think it was a cast and that's probably why it was textured to begin with. In the ACS catalog pics you can see some imperfections from casting, even with the textured paint.

Pics before the refresh would go a long way.

I say make some replicas. This is the only one I've ever seen for sale.

Updated the thread, added some pics and changed the price to 850$ shipped insured and with track and trace.

These are being replicated already. Only difference is that the applique piece was machined instead of being cast as the original. They pop once in a while on ebay.de
