I'm quite sure that if whatever you want for it doesn't take me out of the picture, the shipping would, but my guess is that the amount of interest you would receive for such an item would depend heavily on the price

Yeah the shipping might be expensive, have to check that!
Its hard to put a price on it, but around 1500$ maybe?

I'm intrigued but confused by the previous post. Indeed price is everything on an item like this. What is your selling price for the complete set up and what is your estimated shipping quote to the States? Thanks

Sorry, I meant the selling price is $1500.
Shipping cost I don't know yet, have to check the cheapest option.

Just wanted to check if there were any interest at all first :)

I think its safe to say at $1500 with a reasonably priced way to get it to the States you will sell as many as you can get your hands on.

I think you'll have a lot of interest and very little follow-through, you're looking at ~$2k after shipping.
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

According to bmwfans its 101 lbs for the 420G vs 74 lbs for the 260; so 27 lbs difference.

for 1500 with a modified drive-shaft the sale price is super reasonable. get a shipping quote on a container ship to one of the ports in NYC / Bayonne and perhaps i can be your guinea pig test subject

Is there a difference from the 420g offered in Europe vs. the States?

I dont think so, but the E36 M3 3,2 didnt come with a 6 speed in the USA or am i wrong?

This is the same as a E46 M3 gearbox but uses same clutch as a normal ZF 5 speed, so its more of a bolt on solution if you got a M/S50 or M20 this kit bolts right in with your old clutch etc. Just swap the trans with the included trans mount, linkage and drive shaft and youre done :)
