    FS: MZ3 Finned Diff Cover

I have finned diff cover off an MZ3 for sale that I no longer have use for. As you can see, it's in near perfect condition with no cracked or broken fins and the rubber bushing still has life left. It's a bit dirty in the pictures, but I've been putting off getting this for sale for too long so I decided to just get it up! I'll have it cleaned up before it's shipped. More pictures are available on request.

I had it on my medium case diff on my swapped TI before converting to a dual ear cover. I ran it for about 4 seasons with 2-3 events per year and only limited street miles.

$260 shipped in lower 48. Does not include any hardware or the speed sensor.

Sorry for the PDF pictures, the system wouldn't let me upload the JPEGs for some reason.

For those that aren't aware, this is a nice upgrade for tracked and/or autox cars as the fins will help cool the diff to help preserve its lifespan.

Just so you know, these are ~$225 new, shipped from ECS with bushing, but without sensor/hardware. GLWS.

I can't find it on the ECS website, but Turner and Bimmerworld sell them for $300 + Shipping, VAC for $380 + Shipping. VAC and Turner do include a new gasket and hardware, but I expect those aren't high dollar items. I based my asking price on that and what I've seen them listed for by others in the past, but I am also open to reasonable offers.

Turner and VAC have some inconsistent prices on items. I have to always comparison shop with them. For example they have HR race springs for E30 at VAC for almost $600 dollars! I called them and they said they would get back to me with some pricing and assistance on suspension setups, I never received a call. That being said, I just ordered the H&R/Billy race setup from Turner for a really good price. I always check ECS,bimmerworld and pelican when it comes to OEM parts. So far I'm not impressed with the customer service at VAC!

Sorry for the derailing of the thread...:p
