BavAuto early valence. Looks like BBS, but it isnt. Early Model

I have this bav auto early valence. It was offered through bavauto god knows how long ago. Looks very similar to bbs. It has fogs but I dont know if they work or not. Anyway it will need some minor repair. It is split in the bottom corners. Also has a good nick on top edge. Otherwise in great shape. Asking 250+ plus actual shipping obo. Thanks.

there were two zender valences for early models and I believe this is one of them. very similar to bbs like how you mentioned.

There was also an aftermarket company, called EBS, that made a similar valance.

Up. I think someone on facebook solved this mystery. It seems to be a Bavauto exclusive part from back in the day.

Doest use brackets. Mounts directly to the diving board.

Abs. Its pretty light. Id say 5 lbs or so.

Hmmm. so my 85 has the lower plastic valance missing and the mounting holes on the metal valance are torn. Would this go over the metal stock valance or would i just remove that and put this on under the diving board?

It looked like it was mounted over the stock metal portion of the valance. The sides were held with sheet metal screws into the valance. The middle was held by nuts/bolts/fender washers to the diving board
