FS: TCKline VVS rear coil springs 500#

I have a pair of TCKline rear springs for 60mm ride height adjusters (H&R, GC, TCKLINE etc...) These are a balloon type spring featuring a 500# rate with a 60mm opening on one end. The other end of the spring fits right on the nub in the unit body. These can be used with or without ride hieght adjusters when used in conjuction with a GC spring locater. These are probably about the highest quality rear spring you can buy for an e30...I paid about $200 for the pair, used them for about 5k or so and have since upgraded to a higher rate... http://www.tcklineracing.com/springs.htm

$140 for the pair, shipped in their original packaging...

pics at full drop with adjusters installed:

I can get pictures and total free-length of springs if necessary...

did you ever measure the distance between the fender and the ground when you had it slammed. what shocks were you using? did you have any travel?

can these be used without a height adjuster?

I have never measured from the ground to the fender, I may do that when I get the free length measurements. As of right now I am using crusty tokico hp's in the rear, plan to upgrade to koni's. The rear has plenty of travel, I am using these in conjunction with the TCKline rear ride height adjusters. As stated above, these can be used with any 60mm ride height adjuster. As far as using them without the ride height adjusters you can give GC a call and order the 60mm spring locaters to fit over the nubs on the trailing arms so you can use the springs.

I really have no idea what you mean...you order some 60mm ID spring locaters from GC and them install them on your e30 in conjuction with the TCKline rear springs....not really sure what you mean by "easier said than done"....??????

calling Ground Control. they are fucking impossible to get ahold of.

so you really didn't have any bumpstop crashing with the adjusters all the way down. what's the free length of the spring?

If i could ever get what you are talking about, sure, I could install these. Who said GC had this locator?

ok...I was a little drunk when I typed that last night....anyways...

                  GC sells these:

One end of the TCK spring has a 60mm opening, the other end has an opening similiar to a factory e30 rear spring so it seats in small opening for the nub on the trailing arm.

By using the GC "locater" you can use the linear rate TCK rear springs without adjusters. Ride height will be slightly lower than in the pictures of my 318is because you will not have the 10mm or so of adjuster in there.

I will try and measure the springs today if I get around to it....
