Restoring/swapping my 86 eta atm.
m20b27 fs, completely torn down minus the bottom end.
ran fine until freeze plug blew
upon close inspection realized a knick in the center of the top of the piston, cylinder walls are undamaged! discovered intake valve #4 was slightly bent. i wouldn't have even noticed had i not sat it on a flat table with the rest when tearing the head down and noticed it leaned slightly.
short story, good 2.7 eta early model block needs pistons, perfect for a franken stroker. i have most of the parts organized and stored if you want them in addition to the block, injectors (striped down and polished), eta intake manifold, tb, new alternator, plugs, wires, distributor, you name it I've probably got it.
$200 obo for the block plus any parts. or trade for nice 4x100 wheels or any other suspension parts really.
