I've decided to go back to E30 sport seats, so my setup is for sale.
A pair of blue cloth E36 seats, as per title, in a lovely 90s-tastic pattern are available, including all four custom brackets for installation in an E30.
The seats are both in excellent shape aside from the plastic trim that goes around the bottom of the frame on the side of the seat, behind the controls (damaged in shipping). No rips/tears/stains/etc. All adjusting functions work, and they are very comfortable. They sit about 1" lower than E30 comfort seats, and fit most drivers (I am 6'2" and have headroom to spare)
As an added bonus, they really do update the E30's interior appearance, with only a small weight penalty (~12lbs/side)
Asking $300 for the seats and brackets. I paid about $500 for the seats and in manufacturing the brackets, so I think that is fair. I will accept reasonable offers, but please don't waste anyone's time with lowball ones. Money talks :)
Shipping is possible from L6H7S4, Canada or Buffalo, NY via Greyhound. You are more than welcome to come and test them while they are still in the car!
